Nairobi → Amboseli

Nairobi – Amboseli | Kilimanjaro & Elephants

Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel towards Amboseli National Park.

Arrive at Kibo Safari Camp for lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. Explore the park's open plains and wetlands in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes and other wildlife. Amboseli is particularly famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, weather permitting. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Amboseli | Full-Day Wildlife Safari

Enjoy a full day exploring Amboseli National Park.

Start with an early morning game drive when temperatures are cooler and wildlife is active. Explore different sections of the park while your guide follows the latest wildlife movements. Keep your camera ready for elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest and giraffes, with Mount Kilimanjaro providing an unforgettable backdrop when the skies are clear. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or return to camp before continuing your afternoon safari. Return to Kibo Safari Camp in the evening.

Amboseli – Via Naivasha for Lunch -Lake Nakuru | Into the Great Rift Valley

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel towards Lake Nakuru National Park.

Enjoy the changing scenery as you travel through the Kenyan countryside and towards the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort for lunch before your afternoon game drive. Explore the park's lake shores, woodland and open grasslands in search of black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, buffaloes, lions and leopards. The park also offers excellent birdwatching opportunities, with a variety of water birds and other species around the lake. Check in to the Nakuru Sopa Lodge in the evening for dinner.

Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara | Into the Mara

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and continue towards the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve.

Travel through the Great Rift Valley and into the rolling grasslands of the Mara. Arrive at PrideInn Mara Camp for lunch and some time to settle in. Later, head out for your first afternoon game drive. Explore the Mara in search of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and the reserve's famous big cats. Return to camp in the evening as the sun sets across the savannah.

Today is dedicated to the Masai Mara.

Set out early for a full-day game drive with your experienced safari guide. Explore different areas of the reserve and follow current wildlife activity. The Mara offers some of Kenya's best opportunities to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and buffaloes, along with giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and many other species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before continuing your afternoon game drive. During the migration season, your guide can also monitor the Mara River and surrounding areas depending on the movements of the herds. Return to PrideInn Mara for your final night.
