Nairobi – Amboseli | First Safari & Kilimanjaro Views

Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel towards Amboseli National Park. Arrive at Praro Amboseli Camp for lunch and some time to settle in. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across Amboseli's open plains and wetlands. Look out for the park's famous elephants, as well as lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and a variety of birdlife. On clear days, enjoy your first spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the savannah. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Amboseli | Full-Day Wildlife & Photography

Enjoy a full day exploring Amboseli National Park.

Start with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active and the light is ideal for photography. Explore the park's different habitats, including its seasonal wetlands and open grasslands. Amboseli is particularly famous for its large elephant herds, which can often be seen moving through the park with Mount Kilimanjaro providing a spectacular backdrop. Keep watch for lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or return to camp for lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to Praro Amboseli in the evening for your final night.

Amboseli – Nairobi | Final Morning Game Drive

Wake up early for your final morning game drive in Amboseli.

The cool morning hours provide excellent opportunities to see wildlife becoming active across the plains. Enjoy one last chance to photograph elephants, predators and other wildlife against the beautiful Amboseli landscape. Return to camp for breakfast before beginning your journey back to Nairobi.
Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your 3-Day Amboseli National Park Highlights Safari.
