Your Day-by-Day Experiences

Day1
Mombasa → Diani → Tsavo

Mombasa / Diani / Malindi – Tsavo East | Into the Wild

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup, usually around 5:00 AM, from your hotel in Mombasa, Diani or Malindi.

Travel towards Tsavo East National Park, arriving in time to begin your morning game drive.

Explore the vast Tsavo plains in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and abundant birdlife. Tsavo is particularly famous for its red elephants, which often take on the distinctive colour of the park's rich red soil. Continue towards Aruba Dam, an important water source that attracts wildlife, especially during the dry season.

Arrive at Ashnil Aruba Lodge for lunch and time to relax.

Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Tsavo East | Full-Day Safari Adventure

Enjoy an early breakfast before setting out for a full day exploring Tsavo East National Park.

Your experienced safari guide will follow the latest wildlife activity and explore different areas of the park in search of the best sightings.

Keep watch for large elephant herds, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and many species of antelope. The park's open landscapes also provide excellent opportunities for photography.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness or return to the lodge for lunch, depending on the day's safari plan.

Continue with an afternoon game drive before returning to Ashnil Aruba Lodge for your final evening in Tsavo.

Wake up early for your final game drive in Tsavo East.

Continue your safari towards the park's exit before beginning your journey back to the Kenyan coast.

Arrive in Mombasa, Diani or Malindi in the afternoon, depending on your final drop-off location.
